Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Grailo (grailo.gg). By creating an account or using the marketplace you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Grailo.

1. Who we are

Grailo is operated by [Company name to be completed], [Registered address to be completed], VAT [VAT number to be completed] (Italy). You can reach us at support@grailo.gg.

2. What Grailo does

Grailo is a marketplace where players buy and sell Origins TCG items that are tradable on Steam. Sales are concluded between the buyer and the seller. Grailo provides the platform, holds the payment until delivery is verified, and pays the seller once the checks are complete.

Items never pass through Grailo: sellers deliver them directly to buyers with standard Steam trade offers. Grailo does not run trade bots and does not hold items on anyone's behalf.

Grailo is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Valve Corporation or Koin Games. Steam and Origins TCG are trademarks of their respective owners.

3. Who can use Grailo

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher, to buy, sell or receive payouts.
• You need a Steam account in good standing that can send and receive trade offers.
• One account per person. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
• You may not use Grailo if you are subject to sanctions, or if the law of your country forbids it.

4. Your Steam connection

You sign in through Steam; we never see your Steam password. Sellers add their trade URL and a Steam Web API key. We use the key only to read the trade offers you send, so that deliveries can be confirmed automatically. It is stored encrypted and you can remove it at any time in Settings.

5. Selling

• You may only list items you own and can trade on Steam at that moment. Listings must be accurate.
• When an item sells, you must send the buyer a Steam trade offer containing only that item, asking for nothing in return, within 12 hours.
• You can sell several items together as a bundle, for one price. A bundle must be delivered in a single trade offer containing every item in it: an offer that misses any item does not count as delivery. While a bundle is listed, its items cannot be sold separately.
• Listings of some cards, such as promo and tournament cards, are reviewed before they go live, to prevent scams and pricing errors. A review lasts at most 7 days, usually much less; after that the listing goes on sale by itself. While a listing is under review, Grailo may buy it at the listed price. You can change the price or remove the listing during the review.
• If you do not deliver in time, the buyer is refunded and a missed delivery is recorded on your public profile. Repeated missed deliveries can lead to suspension.
• Our selling fee is 8% of the sale price, with a minimum of €0.50 per sale, reduced to 6% if you sold at least €1,000.00 in the previous 30 days. The fee applicable to a sale is fixed at the moment of purchase. The minimum listing price is €1.00.
• The first 100 players to sign in with Steam are Founding members: they get a permanent badge and the reduced selling fee of 6% for 6 months after launch.
• If you join through a creator's link or code, your selling fee is 6% for your first 90 days, unless a lower fee applies to you. Creators may receive a share of Grailo's fees on your sales; this never changes the price you pay or receive.
• You are responsible for any taxes due on your sales.

6. Buying

• When you buy, the price is charged and held by Grailo until the delivery is verified.
• Accept a trade offer only if it contains the item you bought and asks for nothing in return. Never accept offers that ask you for items.
• If the seller does not deliver within 12 hours, you are refunded automatically.
• You can make an offer below the asking price on a listing. Nothing is charged when you make it. If the seller accepts, the listing is reserved for you at that price for 24 hours; if you do not pay in time, it goes back on sale.
• To limit fraud with stolen cards, new accounts can spend up to €150.00 until they have been on Grailo for 7 days and completed 3 purchases. The limit lifts automatically, or earlier after an identity check.
• You can put listings from different sellers in your cart and pay for them together. Each listing is a separate purchase from its seller, with its own delivery deadline: if one seller does not deliver, you are refunded for that listing only, and the rest of your order is not affected.
• Unless the seller states that they act as a business, sellers on Grailo are private individuals. Consumer protection rules that apply to purchases from businesses may therefore not apply to your purchase from the seller. Your rights towards Grailo for its own service are not affected.

7. Buy offers

You can offer a price for a card, optionally for a specific grade. The amount is held while the offer is active. If a seller accepts, the sale proceeds like any other purchase. You can cancel an active offer at any time and the amount is returned.

8. Payments and payouts

• Payments are processed by a licensed payment provider. You may be asked to verify your identity before receiving payouts, as required by anti-money-laundering rules.
• After the buyer accepts, sale proceeds are checked again after 24 hours. They are then paid out 3 days later, or straight away for sellers with at least 10 completed sales, no missed deliveries and an account at least 30 days old. Sales of €500.00 or more always follow the standard timing. Automatic payouts start from €20.00.
• Withdrawals cost 1% plus €2.00, with a minimum of €20.00.
• We may delay a payout while we investigate suspected fraud, a reversed trade or a payment dispute.

9. Reversed trades and disputes

Reversing a completed trade on Steam, or disputing a legitimate payment with your bank, is a serious breach of these terms. In those cases we freeze the related funds, review what happened, and may refund the other party and permanently ban the accounts involved. You can contact us about any trade at support@grailo.gg.

10. What is not allowed

• Scams, fake trade offers, impersonation of other users, Grailo or Koin Games.
• Selling items that are stolen, or that come from compromised accounts.
• Price manipulation, trading with yourself, or using Grailo to move money unrelated to genuine trades.
• Automated access, scraping, or attempts to bypass rate limits and security measures.
• Promoting gambling services.

11. Suspension

We may remove listings or suspend accounts that breach these terms or the law. When we do, we tell you the reason, unless the law prevents it. You can ask us to review the decision by writing to support@grailo.gg. Funds that belong to you are returned, except where they must be held because of fraud or a legal obligation.

12. Our responsibility

Grailo depends on Steam. We are not responsible for Steam outages, trade holds, bans or other decisions by Valve, or for changes Koin Games makes to Origins TCG items. Within the limits allowed by law, our liability towards you is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded.

13. Changes

We may update these terms and our fees. We will give at least 15 days' notice of changes that affect you, by email or on the site. Changes do not apply to trades already in progress.

14. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before the courts there. Please contact us first at support@grailo.gg: we answer every complaint.
